“Yeah I noticed that here Hamburgers seem pretty big.. Why don’t we try that? If we’re going to be here in America for a while why not get accustom to their food right?” Shouta thought it was a rather good idea. At least for now. He did miss the old food from home but.
This was a chance to try new things
“Yeah, yeah! Well then, 2 hamburgers it is I guess.”
“Two for you? Man you really are hungry Makoto!” He laughed , cracking an obvious joke before lightly nudging her “Okay okay let’s get that”

“This place is really weird, I mean it’s nothing like the food places from Japan!” Shouta crossed his legs across the bench seat and looked around, then turning back to look at her “So what are you hungry for?”
“Yeah, there’s a very different atmosphere. It kind of makes it all hit home that you’re abroad, huh?” Makoto glanced through the menu, looking over all the foods.
“It almost feels like a crime to not order a hamburger, haha.”

“Yeah! But still we’d have so fun doing this” Shouta laughed and gently shook her shoulder “Don’t worry we’ll be sure to eat. and I guess we’ll pay for it” He stuck his tongue out and sat beside her.

As she looked around at the restaurant she realized that this wasn’t actually one of the ones she’d seen before. Then again, she’d only been looking for ones as close to campus as possible last time…

“Wha— that’s against the law!” Makoto was reasonably sure it was joke, but that didn’t stop her from making sour faces the rest of the way there.

“Well hey, till then I guess you’re stuck with me huh? Touma and Hokuto are still in Japan, they wanted me to come here and find out if it was worth staying. Seems like it so far, so hopefully they will come too” Shouta nodded, smiling right back to her.
“Hey! So how about we go out and grab a bite to eat or somethin?”
“Only if you pay for it yourself.” It sounded like another dig at him, but she laughed as soon as she said it. “Sorry, sorry…”

“It’s alright Makoto! We were totally out of line anyway back in Japan with 961 pro. We probably should have, you know, stopped sooner but we really did think our producer had a good plan, and I will admit , he didn’t” He grinned a bit before stretching out his arms “Anyway, it’s good to see you!~ Is anyone else here from your pro?”
He figured he’d try to strike up some sort of conversation. And if it didn’t work well? ah well.
But he did look up to her.. So yeah
… Makoto smiled, pleasantly surprised.
“Yeah! … I haven’t actually seen anyone else yet though, ehehe. I’m sure I’ll find them soon!”

“Uh.. What do you mean? This was a personal choice by me,Touma and Hokuto just by choice once we got the letters in the mail. We don’t even have a pro anymore ever since we left” Shouta rubbed the back of his head slightly as he thought about what she was saying. He could fully understand why she was worried. However he didn’t want to let bad blood stop them from speaking. Especially now.
“… You don’t?”
Makoto had thought that the group would have had a new productions by now… after all, they’d made a few appearances after they quit 961, hadn’t they? Had they seriously organized those themselves…?

“Well hey! I’m glad I stick out so much” Shouta laughed a bit before waving his hands “Helloo~” He decided to greet her like any American would . “I’m here cause our group wanted to come see what it was like here!”
Makoto crossed her arms, glaring angrily at the fellow idol. “Right after 765 Pro announced they’d be sending idols to America? How suspicious…” Sure, Shouta wasn’t a member of 961 Pro anymore, but she couldn’t help but be critical of her rival. After all of the stunts Jupiter had pulled, who wouldn’t be?
